Beliefs

1. We believe the Bible to be the only inerrant Word of God, the supreme and final authority for all faith and life. The Bible contains the standard after which we model our lives.

Romans 10:17; 2Tim 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:2-3,21; Ps 19:7-11

2.We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Gen. 1:1-2; Deut 6:4; Matt. 28:19; John 15:26; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 2:18

3. We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ,His virgin birth,His sinless life,His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection,His ascension, and His return in power and glory.

Is.7:14;Matt 1:21-23;John 1:14; Acts 1:11; Romans 4:25; 1 Cor. 15:17; Eph. 1:19-21, 4:10; Col. 2:9

4.Man, though created in God's image, has been separated from God by sin through birth and by choice (action). He is therefore spiritually dead and at enmity with God.

Gen. 1:26; Rom. 3:10-12,23; Eph. 2:1-2

5.We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man and requires belief in the Lord Jesus Christ and His subsitituionary death on the cross, paying the penalty for man's sin. God's love for mankind was the motivation for Christ to come and die for us.

John 3:16-18; Rom. 5:8

6. Salvation and eternal life are offered as a gift to each person. A person must personally believe God and receive Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord, not trusting any works or goodness of his own, but only in the sacrificial death of Christ. Each person will be held indivually responsible for his decision about Christ.

Acts 4:12; Rom. 6:23; 2Cor. 5;21; Eph. 2:8-9

7. We believe all who acknowledge Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord make up his body, the Church. He calls believers together for worship, teaching of Scripture, prayer, observance of baptism and communion, and to serve one another through the use of God-given gifts and talents. Meeting regulary in obediance to God's command.

1 Corinthians 12:12, 27; Ephesians 1:22-23

8.We believe that the ministry of evangelism and discipleship is a responsibility of all followers of Jesus Christ.
